Atlas does more than put a password on your account. In its current private workspace, supported saved content is encrypted in your browser before it reaches storage.
That protection is real, and so are its boundaries. We explain both.
No universal content key
Atlas does not keep one master key that opens every customer’s private saved work. A recovery code and trusted-browser controls help you manage access to your own space.
Your space stays yours
Private content belongs to your account. Other customers cannot browse your conversations or files.
No address or card to sign up
Free preview signup asks for a display name, username, email, and password. It does not ask for a mailing address or payment card.
Card entry stays with our payment processor
When paid checkout is offered, a third-party payment processor handles card entry. Atlas does not store a full card number or security code; it keeps limited payment references and card display details needed for billing. Checkout does not share private conversations or files with the processor.
Honest about AI processing
A database copy alone does not open supported private saved content. A chosen AI provider can temporarily read the content needed for a request, and some account and operational fields remain readable.
Atlas is in limited preview. These protections do not mean every database field is hidden or that every feature is end-to-end encrypted. Privileged control of live processing or the web app is a different security boundary from reading stored ciphertext.
